THE PYRENEAN SHEEPDOG

This small French sheepdog has a big power of seduction,

We invite you to discover it

THE BORDER COLLIE

This is the dog of shepherds' herds.Discover our females and our male. This race comes

from Australia and from New Zealand (lands of Border collies)

Our breeding activities stem from a passion for the Pyrenean sheepdog, met at a competition of agility, where this hairball literally seduced us.This is a very friendly dog for its master. Its character is nevertheless pronounced, and its education must be strict according to the saying: "An iron hand in a velvet glove".

This is a very close friend for its master, it is fit for working. Although we still see it as a herdkeeper, we also meet it more and more acting on the agility fields where it excels if well led.

It also knows how to be a good pet. It likes the children and it has a high degree of energy to release other more sporting activities such as agility, ballflying, rhythmic obeying and dogs'cross - country running.

We met Border Collies in the same way as the Pyrenean sheepdogs, and so fell under its charm. We decided to include it into our breeding. The Border collie also excels in agility. It is the only dog in France that must be considered as being skilled with herds.

It likes everybody and knows how to be liked. It is skillful when working, comes from its origins making it be a very manageable dog with a wonderful temper.

WE ARE VERY PLEASED TO BREED THESE TWO KINDS OF SHEEPDOGS

THE PASSION OF BREEDING:

OH! Where does this fad come from?

It is necessary to be a bit mad to get involved in breeding selections :  daily dedicating in our time without and non-stop maintaining of our protected dogs that know neither Sundays nor bank holiday nourishing : feeding them, making them drink water, cleaning them, disinfecting them, watching after them and daily curing (even at night) - protecting them because of the bad weather, and warming them during the winter season, avoiding them to suffer from the summer heat waves - Dedicating your leisure budget to them. Reallly Dedicating to it, Restricting your holiday departures to avoid your very long relaxing. Devoting your budget to its freetime - Being affected by your neighbours wraths because they are annoyed by barkings; you often incur (sometimes up to divorce) lassitude and incomprehension of the spouse.Sacrificing your life for the delight of the administrative arcanes and braving epizooties.

Here is the list and I forget others, the breeder's sufferings. If such conditions of the financial year were imposed as part of an activity without any doubt, candidates would not be numerous and that strikes would succeed it in union movements....

This is a job However, they see amateur taking pleasure there, being declared even readily to the incredulous ignorantus that this big passion is the salt of his/her life... Some people will imagine that  he/she acquires a financial return which broadly awards him/her for his/her efforts.

Alas no breeder has ever made a fortune and the rarely lucky the treasury of which finds itself occasionally positive, reinvest their winning in their hobby ....

Then, why do our breeders run ? work ?

Chance just like that of loving at first sight as often, a meeting in nature or an exhibition with a hairball, unnecessarily the most amazing,

but above all, a look, an attitude, a vivacity of which will have known how to fire its imagination or to attract its curiosity.

The acquisition of the first dog will come and are more often get him/her into the privacy of the dog race and to discover life under aspects which are avoided by the ordinary people. He/she will be the privileged witness of the first reproductions whom he/she will have known how to favour them by pampering his/her residents. Actor/Actress and witness, the master will have participated in the big Miracle of Life. Not much matters even if there are efforts, pressures and disenchantment, the smallest success encourages him/her to face more difficulties.

Along his/her road he/she is going to meet in the associations of the mad friends as they are often going to become his/her cherished family.

He/she is going to be informed, trained and to discover fields of scientific knowledge which were sometimes completely unknown by him/her.

He/she is going to combine intelligence and experience in order to take care of the living beings and he/she will be able to take an active part in the protection of some races.

The amateur breeder is a man or a woman being an architect of life, he/she has a pragmatic and fair knowledge of it, he/she knows how to get involved, he/she has the passion of results, he/she is a vector of the well - understood respect of animal races. Here you are! This is worth that soft fad, undoubtedly!
